MISSION

Danum Filmworks was founded in May of 2024 by Alex De Luca & Robert Hartburn for the business of motion picture and television production activities.

As part of our mission we want to film everything we do exclusively in Doncaster and its surrounding towns where possible, using local talent in both cast and crew. As it stands at the moment, the majority of the local talent in Doncaster has to move away to get work, and at Danum Filmworks we want to end that exodus and keep them all here in the city.

As part of our mission to keep all of the local acting talent and production crew in the Doncaster area, we hope to include many of the local businesses as partners in our efforts moving forward, so that we can make films and television series with the people of Doncaster, for the people of Doncaster and achieve something that we can all be proud of, and put Doncaster on the map.
